FAQs

How long is a session?

At YMGT Fitness we have specialised HIIT sessions which run for 45 minutes, Group Training sessions which run for 60 minutes and Smash sessions which run for 90 minutes

 

What should I bring?

Please bring a towel, water bottle and hat and don’t forget to wear sunscreen

 

What time should I arrive?

For your first session we suggest you arrive 10-15 minutes early so you can and meet your trainer and fill in a health form

 

I haven’t exercised in a long time, will I be able to do the sessions?

Yes. Sessions are suitable for all fitness levels, they are structured in a way that allows you to work at your own pace and level

 

I am looking to make friends with other women, will I be able to do that?

Absolutely! YMGT Fitness recognises the importance of having social support which is why all members have access to a private forum where you can connect with each other. We also organise regular social events so you can socialise outside of classes

 

How soon can I start after giving birth?

You will need to get medical clearance to exercise from your doctor which is usually done at your 6 week post-partum check-up

 

What happens if it is raining?

Classes still go ahead (unless it is severe weather conditions that would compromise safety). We utilise the shelters available to us at our training location or we relocate to a nearby facility, however this is dependent on availability. You will be notified prior to class start time if the class has been relocated.

 

Is there a contract?

No. At YMGT Fitness there are no lock in contracts

 

Is there a joining fee?

No, there is no joining fee. At YMGT Fitness we are conscious of keeping our prices affordable

 

Do I need to book?

Yes. Bookings are essential and will only be taken either via the online booking system
